The 818 resistance test kit is a low-cost kit designed to measure surface, point-to-point, and point to ground resistance. The kit includes model 880 automatic range resistance indicator, two (2) model 850 resistance probes, model 256 utility wiring verifier (115VAC version only), ground plane and portable package.

The core of the kit is a 880 type resistance indicator with an automatic range of < 10e3 to > 10e 12 (10e3 to 10e5100v, 10e6 to 10e12), parallel strip electrodes for connecting the output jack of the optional probe, CE and 9V battery power supply. Two (2) 850 industry standard 5-pound resistance probes allow users to measure point-to-point and point to ground. The model 256 ensures the availability of the appropriate ground.
